MAMMOET GOLDHOFER FTV 300 WING TRANSPORT

The Mammoet Goldhofer FTV 300 wing transport, is a detailed model of a 12-axle conventional trailer with powerpack and a adapter for the transport of windturbine blades.
The scale model is made by Herpa, out of plastic in scale 1:87.

This transport solution is mainly used on routes where space is limited to transport the wind turbine blades horizontally. With this combination, wind turbine blades can be tilted to an angle of 60 degrees, resulting in the avoidance of many obstacles which one can find on route. 

Some technical features:

• maximum angle of 60°.
• maximum diameter of the turbine blade of 2,800 mm.
• Can be used as a self-driven module, powered by it’s own Power pack, or to be used as a conventional trailer, pulled by a tractor.
• maximum ballastweight of 14 tonne.
